“The 2010 Le Cran, a blend of equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir brings together the flavor profile of the former and the textural resonance of the latter. Apricot, lemon confit and wild flowers are some of the many notes that flesh out in this creamy, super-expressive Champagne. This is one of the bigger, more dramatic wines in the range, but everything works together nicely. Disgorged December 2017. Dosage is 4 grams per liter.” – Vinous
My notes – made from a very old plot at the top of the hill from the winery that yields very poorly. Leading to a strenuous harvest but worth it. It’s dry at 4 g/L but completely balanced and incredibly long. They are doing more and more single vineyard Champagnes, hence this one’s name. Expect more soon.
