We just sent you an email on Domaine Bart. What that previous email didn’t mention is that Pierre Bart is the direct descendent of the legendary Clair-Dau Domaine, which has become the incredibly famous Bruno Clair Domaine. Not only did Pierre Bart inherit some prime vineyards (check out the offer below) but his uncle, Bruno Clair, had a hand in helping with these wines, their philosophy, and their style.

What does this all mean to you? Well, as you already know, Bruno Clair’s wines are highly prized, allocated and expensive. Here is your shot to get some of that magical unicorn juice, at reasonable prices. Pierre doesn’t make much of these wines, so grab them while you can.

Critical Acclaim:

2018 Domaine Bart Bonnes Mares Grand Cru

“97 points.

“14 barrels made, half of them new wood, still in barrel, with 40% whole bunch vinification. Ancient vines from 1926/7, with deep roots which are less affected by the heat. Always millerand every year. Dense imperial purple, the nose is plump, ripe but gorgeous, no feeling of over-cooking here. Sweetly distinguished with a long fine juicy fruit right across the palate, some blacker notes, otherwise dark raspberry, the oak is well integrated. Sumptuous more than savoury.” – Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

2018 Domaine Bart Chambertin Clos de Beze

“97 points.

“8 barrels made, half of them new wood, still in barrel, with 40% whole bunch vinification. Super rich dense purple with a gorgeous glowing fruit. Super-classy and very typical with a coating of velvet before the whole bunch character comes back at the finish. Sweet raspberry fruit, with a touch of strawberry too. This wine is stylistically totally different to the Bonnes Mares but I cannot separate them for quality.”
