2018 Willful Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

$24.99

Winemaker notes:

“Pommard clone Pinot Noir from Northridge Vineyard (Eola-Amity Hills AVA) with Pommard, 777, 115 and Wadenswil clones from Stewart Vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA.  The grapes were fermented in small lots using native yeasts with around 40% whole cluster. The wine was aged for twelve months in French oak (some neutral and several one-year-old barrels).

“Plum and cherry fruit flavors pair with medium tannins and a supple texture. Earthy, savory flavors compliment the fruit. Beautiful with salmon, mushrooms, and pork. Drink now or cellar for ten or more years. (890 cases produced).”

Critical acclaim:

“92 points.” James Suckling
