“With each passing year, I become more and more enamored of the wines from this superb Côte des Bar producer located in the village of Buxeuil. The new release of Moutard Grande Cuvée is a stunning bottle of non-vintage Brut, offering up a deep and complex nose of apple, warm bread, a very complex base of minerality, a touch of nutskin, gentle leesiness and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and still quite youthful, with a rock solid core of fruit, very elegant, pinpoint bubbles, laser-like focus and great grip and elegance on the very long and perfectly-balanced finish.
